Licences are issued against an invoice rather than a card checkout. Tell us which tier you need and where the invoice should go, and you will have it — along with the licence document naming your company — within one working day.

Free covers personal projects, open source, evaluation, development and CI — and production too, if the company shipping it earns under $250,000 a year. Nothing is held back in that case: same formats, same packages, no watermark.

What happens next

The form is delivered to us as an email. Nothing is written to a database and nothing is passed to a third party.
Within one working day you receive an invoice carrying your VAT details, together with the licence document naming your company.
Payment is by bank transfer. The licence takes effect on the date of the invoice, not the date the funds clear.
Twelve months of updates and support begin there. Everything covered by that term remains licensed to you permanently.

What support covers

Genom is a young product and its format coverage is still growing. Rather than describe a roadmap, we publish what each format does not yet do — the list sits on the page for that format, beside what it does, and is measured against Office itself rather than against our own judgement.

That is what a licence buys beyond the code. Documents sent in by customers go to the front of the queue, correspondence is with the people who wrote the parser rather than with a ticket system, and a document that renders wrong usually comes back as a release rather than as an explanation.
